NAMMAMMA SARADE UMA MAHESWARI
Here I am presenting Kannada Bhajan/Kirti written by Famous Kannada Saint Sri. Kanakadasa born in "Kaginele", small town from Darwad, North Karnataka. This Kriti/Bhajan is written in question answer style. He worship Lord Ganesha in very unique way.
First part he asks, "Mother, Sharada who is inside of you?" "He, the son of Vairi (enemy) of Kamadeva."
Second Part, "Who is he with broken Tusk? Son of three eyes (Shiv-who also have three eyes --Trilochan)?" And also he referes to one tale which links with Lord Chandra (Moon). For this he refers "Muruditta chandrana".
Third Part, He directly refers to Lord Parvathi, and says he is the son of Parvathi.
Last part, He bows saying Lord Ganesh is the very first person we remmber at the starting time of Vidyarambha (starting the learning process). And He also an excellent orator (bhashigan) too. He - "AadiKesava" (Kanakadasa) of "Kaaginele" (his village) pranams to One who cares for his children, people, folk. Remember that there is a temple of Lord Vishnu in this village. So he indirectly refers to the temple also.
Am providing one link, sung by Sri. Vidyabhushan. Thanks to Asithmohan29.
